Privacy Policy

Fetope LLC ("FE to PE Prep", "we", "us") runs fetope.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who handles it, and your choices.

1. What we collect

• Account. Your email address and password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile from Google, never your Google password.
• Purchases. Stripe handles payment. We receive your email address, a customer ID, what you bought and a company name if you add one for your invoice; we never see your full card number.
• Study activity. Your answers, scores and progress.
• PE Experience Tracker. If you use it, the education, work, exam and reference details you enter, including the names, license numbers and contact details of the people you list (please let them know). Sensitive fields are encrypted when stored, and you can export or delete your records at any time.
• AI tutor. The messages you send it (see section 5).
• What you send us. Emails, forms, question reports and feedback. If you let us quote your feedback, we may publish it with the name you give.
• Technical data. Your IP address, browser and device details, and cookies (see section 4). Our sign-in provider stores the IP address and browser of each signed-in session, and our security and error logs can include IP addresses.

2. How we use it

We use it to run the site and your account, process payments, provide the AI tutor, answer you, keep the site secure, understand how it is used, and meet our legal duties.

We email you about your account and passes, and sometimes about your exam or what is new. To stop any email that is not about your account, reply "unsubscribe" or write to support@fetope.com.

Where EU or UK law applies, we rely on our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing the site, your consent where we ask for it, and our legal obligations.

3. Who handles it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run the site, each for its own job: Stripe for payments; Google for the AI tutor, Google sign-in and Google Analytics; Microsoft for measuring our ads; and providers of hosting, our database and sign-in, network security, email, error monitoring, and the business software (including AI assistants) we use to run the site and answer you. Ask us and we will tell you who they are.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to enforce our Terms, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.

4. Cookies and browser storage

We use cookies and your browser's storage to run sign-in and site access, remember your settings and any mock exam in progress, protect the site from bots, run checkout (Stripe), and measure how the site is used and how our ads perform. For measurement we use Google Analytics, with Google signals and ad personalization turned off, and cookie-free page statistics. Google explains how it uses data from sites like ours. If you arrive by clicking one of our ads placed through Microsoft, Microsoft collects information about that visit and later ones from the same browser to provide its advertising service. To opt out, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. You can block analytics cookies in your browser without affecting the site.

5. The AI tutor

When you use the AI tutor, your messages and the title of the page you are on go to Google to generate the answer. We do not send your name, email or account details, and we do not keep the conversations. Under its paid-API terms, Google does not use them to train its models and keeps them for a limited time only to detect misuse and meet legal requirements. Please do not enter sensitive personal information.

6. Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information while your account is active or while we need it for what you asked for, then only as long as we need it for legal, tax, accounting or security reasons. To delete your account and data, email privacy@fetope.com. Copies can remain in our backups.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, but no system is perfectly secure. We and our providers process information in the United States and other countries.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your information, object to or limit how we use it, and withdraw your consent. Email privacy@fetope.com; we will verify your request, respond as the law requires, and not treat you differently for asking. We do not sell your personal information. In the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.

9. Children

The site is for adults (see our Terms), and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has given us information, email privacy@fetope.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in another way where appropriate.
