Please read these important disclaimers about FE to PE Prep (fetope.com). They are part of our Terms of Service.

1. Study resource only — not professional advice

The Service provides practice questions, mock exams, study explanations, and an AI tutor for exam preparation only. It is for general educational purposes and does not constitute professional engineering advice, and it must not be relied upon for the design, analysis, or construction of any real-world project or for any professional decision. Always consult a licensed professional and the governing codes and standards for actual engineering work.

2. No guarantee of exam outcomes

We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in passing any exam, achieving any particular score, or obtaining any license or certification. Individual results vary, and passing is not guaranteed. Exam performance depends on many factors outside our control, including your own preparation.

3. Not affiliated with NCEES

NCEES® is a registered trademark of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying. fetope.com is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NCEES.

We are an independent study provider. We do not administer exams, and we do not license, certify, or register engineers — only state licensing boards do that. Nothing on the Service confers any professional license, title, or credential. Titles such as "Professional Engineer" and "PE" are legally protected in many jurisdictions and may be used only by individuals licensed by the relevant board.

4. Third-party trademarks and standards

Exam names and the names of codes and standards referenced on the Service — for example, NCEES, FE, PE, and standards such as those published by ACI, AISC, ASCE, AASHTO, NFPA (NEC), and others — are the trademarks or property of their respective owners. We reference them only nominatively to describe the exams we help you prepare for, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these organizations. We do not reproduce their copyrighted materials.

5. Alignment with exam blueprints

Where we describe our content or mock exams as "blueprint-weighted" or as following an exam specification, we mean that we organize and weight our original content to reflect the publicly available exam specifications published by the exam provider. Our questions are our own and are not actual, past, or secured exam questions.

6. Accuracy of content

We work hard to make our content accurate, but it may contain errors, and exam specifications, codes, and standards change over time. Content is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy or completeness; please verify important information against current, authoritative references. If you spot an error, use the "report a question" feature so we can fix it.

7. The AI tutor

The AI tutor generates responses automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Treat it as a study aid, not as an authoritative source or professional advice, and independently verify anything important.

8. External links

The Service may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.
